Lomatuell pro 10 x 20 cm - sterile - 8 pcs. is a gel-forming contact mesh for the care of acute and chronic wounds.
The mesh tulle made of polyester fibres, coated with a mass of polymer matrix, hydrocolloid particles and vaseline gels on contact with wound exudate and forms a wound contact layer.
While the hydrocolloids in Lomatuell pro maintain the moist wound environment by gelling on contact with wound exudate, the petrolatum provides a refatting effect on dry wound areas and wound edges.
Due to the minimal risk of adhesion, dressing changes are atraumatic and painless.
Lomatuell pro supports the wound healing process and is flexible and supple in application.
The open mesh structure of Lomatuell pro also provides good exudate drainage into the secondary dressing.
The 10 x 20 cm dressing is ideal for wounds larger than the standard 10 x 10 cm size and offers the possibility to cover the entire wound area with only one dressing.
Lomatuell pro can be cut to any size and shape and can be used on both sides.
Lomatuell pro can remain on the wound for up to 7 days, the average duration of application is usually 2-4 days* (*The duration of application is always dependent on the condition of the wound, to be determined by the attending physician)
